Real estate values?

[edit]

Forgive me for not knowing the convention, does "office space pricing at Burj Khalifa reached US$4,000 per sq ft (over US$43,000 per m²" refer to condominium sale prices, or yearly rent, or something else? If it is condominium sales, are there also annual assessments? Could someone add a clarification to the article's text? Thanks!

Is it true the building is (or was) not connected to a sewer system?

Is it true the building is (or was) not connected to a sewer system? 2600:1700:4CA1:3C80:ED34:7798:35DC:528F (talk) 15:21, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The building is connected to the sewer system. There was obviously a point during construction when it wasn't though. Nobody is going to design a building that big and not do that. GliderMaven (talk) 15:58, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
If it isn't, that is a noteworthy point.
Just to appeal to common sense does not work as a counter argument, given how nonsensical the urban planning of Dubai is.
In short, I would not put it past them to do such a thing. 2003:E4:5F3B:9700:7C51:BDD1:EA06:8093 (talk) 13:59, 6 July 2024 (UTC)[reply]

NYE

[edit]

Pinging @Jolielover, you have removed a section of text from the NYE section because the source doesn't support text. The section claimed that from 2022 onwards, lasers have been installed on the Burj for the Dubai Fountain. It says in the source I provided: "In line with the theme 'Eve of Wonder', a brand-new laser feature is making its debut at The Dubai Fountain in sync with Burj Khalifa's stunning programme..." Can you please take another look at this? If the concern is that it doesn't mention it being installed on Burj Khalifa, then I'm happy to reword the text to something like "For the 2022 event, a laser feature was installed on The Dubai Fountain in sync with the Burj Khalifa's laser and fireworks show." Hi, I removed it since the source didn't say that it would be a regular occurrence from 2022. Sure, the rewording works and can be added. jolielover♥talk 06:32, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I will add the reworded section with the source. Thanks. User3749 (talk) 09:50, 31 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
